On October 1st, 1971 Walt Disney World opened for the world to enjoy. At the time there were only three hotels (Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Resort, and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground) and one theme park, The Magic Kingdom.
Now there are four theme parks, two water parks and more resort hotels than 20 resort hotels to choose from.
The four theme parks are the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There are also two water parks, Blizzard Beach and Tyhpoon Lagoon. Visit our theme park page here.
The resort hotels range from value to Deluxe Studio. They all come with special perks like Disney’s Magical Express, 60 day Fastpass booking, and Extra Magic Hours. Learn more about the Walt Disney World Resorts here.
