On September 17, 2011 Disney announced that a deal had been reached with James Cameron, Lightstorm Entertainment and 20th Century Fox to bring an Avatar themed land to Walt Disney World. The immediate reaction from fans was mixed at best. Few loved the idea. Many hated it. Some adopted a wait and see attitude. What do you think? After careful research (meaning I just completely made it all up) I have come to the scientific conclusion there are seven stages of Disney planning. Each stage can be characterized by one of the seven dwarfs from Disney’s classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. For that reason I call my approach the Disney Planning Seven Dwarfs Style.
