The Magic Kingdom plays host to both parties. That means if you do not buy a special ticket for the party you must leave at seven.

What is Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

The very first Halloween party at the Magic Kingdom was in October of 1995. Now it stretches from August to November.

MNSSHP is a special event. That means it is not included in regular park admission.  The party starts at seven and if you do not have the special ticket you will be asked (politely) to leave. The party is the one time during the year that adults can wear costumes in a Disney theme park.

The most popular attractions will be open and will probably have shorter lines than during normal hours. There are, however, some special things to do that are only available during the party.  Those include a special Halloween fireworks show (Hallowishes in the past), the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, special event only character meet-and-greet opportunities, trick-or-treating and more!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

This is also a special ticket event. If you do not have one you will be asked to leave.

The party normally starts at seven but guests may be allowed to enter as early as four.

The entire park will be in Christmas mode. Most of the best attractions will be open! Guests normally are treated to hot chocolate and cookies. There will be special fireworks (probably centered around the movie Frozen.) There will also be special parades featuring Santa Claus and special opportunities to meet characters. It may even snow on Mainstreet USA!
